I write blogs, articles, appear on TV and the radio. I wrote Barack Obama: the movement for change. I have written for The Guardian, The Independent, Tribune, and the Birmingham Post and appeared on BBC Breakfast News, The Adam Boulton Show, BBC Radio Five Live, BBC London, LBC, BBC Radio Wales, and dozens of other stations talking about the new president, his administration, British and European politics. My email is anthonypainter AT yahoo.co.uk. I am available for comment- on British and US politics. Or for talks- I have spoken in book festivals, commercial events, and to groups of all different kinds- 40+ talks this year. Beyond all this, I am Vice Chairman of Governors at Hackney Community College and I stood as a candidate for the Labour party in the European elections 2009. Please see a selection of my recent journalism below.

Comments on www.anthonypainter.co.uk From www.politics.co.uk: “[Anthony Painter] marshals a significant amount of evidence in support of his arguments, linking to various articles and bits of research. As a result his posts are persuasive and authoritative.”
Julian Ware-Lane: “The most important feature of any blog is the content, and here it is brilliant. Anthony Painter’s obvious intelligence is on display with every utterance here. His writing style is lucid, well-paced and delivered in plain English. He posts regularly and is topical.”
